【For Member of School of Science】Library Services after June 1, 2023

All servces of Science Library will return to normal operation after June 1, 2023.  This is because the UTokyo Activity Restrictions Index was leveled to level S on May 8, 2023. Thank you for your cooperation in preventing the spread of COVID-19.
Please use Science Library with basic infection control measures such as hand sanitization and cough etiquette.

 

The main changes about services since Jun 1 are as follows. Please click HERE when you use our library during May.
 

  • Postal Loan and Photocopy Service
    This service will continue for the member of School of Science who have difficulty visiting to our library. Some conditions of use will change.
     
  • Return books by mail
    This service is always available.
     
  • Seminar Room
    The number of users will be returned to 3-15; reservations for 1-2 users cannot be made after June 1.
    If there are no other users in the room, the room will be available for use by 1-2 users. Please come to the service desk on the 3rd floor of Science Library at the time you wish to use.
     
  • After Hours Use
    This service will resume for graduate students of the School of Science.
     
  • User Registration
    We will continue to accept applications by e-mail from members of the School of Science who have difficulty visiting to our library.
     
  • Reference Service
    We will continue to accept questions by e-mail. You can also use ASK Service and visit the service desk of our library.

【Please note】

  • If you have symptoms such as fever or cold, or feel unwell, please refrain from visiting.
  • Although wearing of masks is left to the discretion of the individual after April 1, 2023, we ask you for consideration to those around you when using lounge and other areas where talking is possible.
  • There is alcohol for disinfection in the library. We ask for your cooperation in disinfecting your hands.
