Your reservation will be confirmed when we reply to you. Please apply well in advance.
If you need to make a reservation just before the desired time, please inquire directly at the counter on the 3rd floor.

How to Use

  1. Eligible Person:
    Members of School of Science, and others (member of other faculties and visitors).
    The representative should be a member of School of Science.
     
  2. The number of users:
    3 to 15 people.
    If there are no other users in the room, the room will be available for use by 1-2 users. Please come to the service desk on the 3rd floor of Science Library at the time you wish to use.
     
  3. Hours:
    The room may be used for up to 2 hours during the opening hours.
    You may continue for another 2 hours if there is not next user. Only one extension is allowed.
    Non-members of the School of Science should leave by 17:00.
     
  4. Purpose:
    The room may be used for studying, research, or other activities in UTokyo, including club activities.
     
  5. Reservations can be made at the Service Desk on the 3rd floor of Science Library, via e-mail* and web application form.
    Faculty and staff members can make a reservation up to 3 months in advance. Students can reserve the room up to 1 month in advance.
    Only members of School of Science can make a reservation.
    One reservation can be made at a time.

    *Please let us know the following information when reservationg by e-mail.
    • Name
    • Department
    • Position (Grade)
    • UTokyo Account ID or Library Account ID
    • Date and time desired
    • Purpose of use
    • Number of users (including applicants)
    • Whether the group includes of non-member of school of science or not
    • Whether you would like to use a projector or speakerphone
       
  6. Notice:
    • No food and smoking are allowed.
    • Beverages in sealable containers such as plastic bottles and water bottles are permitted. 
    • The room is not completely soundproof. Please be considerate of others.
    • Non-members of the School of Science should leave by 17:00.
    • If you do not arrive 15 minutes after the start time, your reservation will be cancelled.
