The Komaba Library/Arts and Sciences Library (henceforth Komaba Library) was opened in October 2002 in the Komaba campus, as one of three libraries located on each campus of the University of Tokyo (Hongo, Komaba, and Kashiwa).
One of the key features of the Komaba Library is its dual function as both an educational library for the university and as a research library for the College and Graduate School of the Arts and Sciences. The library collects ranging from academic textbooks to specialist texts from across the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences.
UTokyo WiFi can be used at each floor, and we provide 1,100 seats, including reading rooms and group study rooms, which cater to readers' needs.
