After Hours Use

Faculty, staff and graduate students of the Graduate School of Science can enter Science Library and Library of Chemistry with your staff/student ID card from after the library closes until the library opens the next day. (Excluding closing days for maintenance at the end of each month, entrance examinations, electrical equipment inspections, etc.)

Persons other than the above are not allowed to use those libraries after hours. Undergraduate students of the Faculty of Science must leave those libraries by closing time, and all other users must leave by 5:00 p.m.

How to use the library

• Please enter Science Library and Library of Chemistry by touching your staff/student ID card to the card reader on the wall next to the automatic door.
• You can browse open-shelf materials.
• You can also check out materials from the automatic lending machine at Science Library. The machine is not available from 11:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m to maintenance.
• You cannot check out materials from Library of Chemistry.
• Please take care of your valuables by yourself.
• Please exit those libraries at closing time and re-enter there after closing work.
