Borrowing and Returning
Borrowing
Please present your UTokyo ID card at the service desk.

| Journals | 10 items | within the day | renewal not allowed |
Log in to MyOPAC to renew loan period or make reservation.
Following items do not circulate.
- Rare books
- Reference books
- Theses and dissertations
- Other fragile materials
Returning
- Return books and journals to the service desk or drop them to the return box. Please do not drop audio visual materials (e.g. CDs), large materials, or damaged materials.
- Overdue items are subject to a penalty: your borrowing privileges will be suspended.
* The Science Library materials can be returned to any UTokyo libraries. At the Science Library, you can return the books from the libraries within the Hongo area campus, in addition to the books from other campuses.
Returning by Post
If you are unable to come to the library for returning books by the due date, or if you wish to return them by mail, please contact us by e-mail. Postage is paid by the borrowers.
