Library Manners
To maintain a better research/studying environment, please follow the things below.
1) Refrain from behaviors that cause disturbance to other users.
In order to maintain a quiet environment, please do not talk or make phone calls.
2) Protect your own valuables.
Do not leave wallets, laptop PCs and mobile phones unattended, even for a short time. Please carry your valuables all the time.
3) Follow the drinks and food code of behavior.
In order to prevent stain/damage of library materials and facilities, as well as to prevent damage from insects, please follow the rules below.
- Carrels and the Media Park
Beverages in spill-proof containers are only allowed.
- Near the bookshelves
No beverages are allowed. Do not place beverages on the shelves or desks.
- The eating and drinking corner in the Sky Lounge on the 1st floor
It is the only place where you can eat and drink in the library. In other areas, food is prohibited. Candy and chewing gum are also not allowed.
4) You can use the power sockets only to charge devices used for study/research.
Allowed: PCs, tablets, smart phones etc.
Prohibited: music players, portable game consoles etc.
5) No photography/filming.
Photography/filming is prohibited in the library.
6₎ Please wash or sanitize your hands before/after using library books and facilities.
Please refrain from visiting or entering the library when you have symptoms such as cough or fever.
7) No smoking in campus.
Due to the Article 25 of the Health Promotion Law, smoking is prohibited in the campus.
Please also check “Support for Users Who Need Special Assistance” if you fall under any of the following categories.
- Users with disabilities
- Users with children
- Users who have difficulty visiting the library
