For others, please consult with your own Home Library.

• The following【Paid Service】are available free of charge to the members of School of Science whose Home Library* is Science Library.

*Home Library: The library where you proceed with various procedures and receive the materials you ordered.

If the materials you want to borrow are on campus, you can request them to the designated library and receive them. 
Click "Reserve/Order" button in the OPAC search results and go on to applying form screen.

• You can choose a pickup location from Science Library, General Library, Komaba Library, or Kashiwa Library.
• The pickup deadline is one week after the book arrives at the pickup location.

An application for use must be submitted before the first use. Please fill out the application form below and submit it to Science Library.
The members of School of Science whose Home Library is Science library are available free of charge the service.

• Location: Service desk on the 3rd floor in Science Library
• Service hours: 9:00－16:30 (weekdays)

If the materials you want to copy is in UTokyo libraries, you can request a copy (paper medium) to the library that owns it.
Click "Copy" button in the OPAC search result and go on to applying form screen.

• If you have any requests, such as "I would like color pages copied in color," please enter them in the "Comments" field.
• Fees: Black-and-white 20 yen/sheet, Color 60 yen/sheet

If the materials you want to copy is in UTokyo libraries, you can request it as a PDF file.
Click "Copy" button in the OPAC search result and go on to applying form screen.

• The library staff will convert the materials to PDF file, upload it on the server, and contact you by e-mail. Log in to MyOPAC and view/print the PDF file from "Status of Loan/Photocopy(List)".
• PDF viewing is available only on computers connected to the university network (UTnet). (Unavailable via remote access, including UTokyo VPN)
• Printing is limited to a single copy. Multiple prints are not permitted. It is forbidden to save PDF file.
• Fees: 20 yen for both black-and-white & color / PDF 1 page (up to A3 size)

If you do not have the materials you want to use in UTokyo libraries, you can place document delivery requests to other institutional libraries through Science Library.

• You can pick up your photocopies at the service desk on the 3rd floor of Science Library or your laboratory.
• Fees: 40 yen- / sheet (depending on the holding libraries, postage and handling charges will be added.)

If you do not have the books you want to use in UTokyo libraries, you can place document delivery requests to other institutional libraries through Science Library.

• You can /return the books at the service desk on the 3rd floor of Science Library between 9:00 and 17:00. You cannot receive it at your lab and return to a book drop.
• Journals are not covered by this service. Please use copy request service.
• Fees: Postage, handling fee, return postage, etc. will be charged.

If you belong to a laboratory in one of the following annexed facilities of School of Science, you can recieve books ordered from UTokyo libraries, photocopies ordered from UTokyo libraries, and photocopies ordered to other institutions at the affiliated facility.
Books/Copies will be sent to the annexed facility via on-campus mail or postal service.
