This database provides texts of Heian literature and a system for searching by vocabulary, part of speech, and full text. It also includes reference information that allows users to quickly check related pages of annotated documents. （Works included: The Tale of Genji, The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, The Tale of Ise, etc. Japanese only)

If you are using this service for the first time, please install the dedicated application. Install the application from the "Download and Application Launch Method" page (Japanese only).
An authentication code is required to access the database from outside the university. For information on accessing the database from outside the university, refer to "How to Access the Heian Literature Library from Outside the University" (Japanese only).
