How to pay

You need to pay at the private expense (cash) or public expense (management expenses grants).
Please check the following and carry out the procedure if you want to pay at public expense (management expenses grant).

  • Select how to pay when you apply.
  • You cannot change the method of payment after you apply (public expense/private expense).

Pay at private expense (cash)

The fee will be announced by e-mail when the material arrives at the library. 
You have to pay at the reference counter in cash.
After you pay, you can receive the material.

  • Service hours for payment:9:00~16:30 on weekdays
  • Please show your student ID/staff ID/library card.
  • A receipt will be issued.
  • You cannot pay by large denomination bills (5000yen, 10000yen).
    Please prepare the exact change possibly.
  • If you have difficulty visiting the Komaba Library for various reasons, you can use the mail service. You can also receive documents at the counter at night, on weekends, and holidays after paying by cash registered mail/bank transfer. Please contact the information service staff by e-mail (Contact information ).

Pay at public expense (management expenses grants)

You can use only management expenses grants as public expenses in Komaba Library.
You can receive the material at the counter before 10minutes to closing time.

Reception counter 

  • 9:00~17:00 on weekdays: Reference counter
  • The other time: Borrowing/Returning counter

Those who can use public expense

  1. Faculty staff in charge of management expenses grants
  2. Those who obtained permission from faculty staff in charge of management expenses grants
    ※If you are applying as a student, please ask your supervisor.

User Registration
You must be registered at the reference counter beforehand.
It will be about a week after you apply when the service is available.

Adjustment

  • The previous year's expenses (from January to December) will be settled every January by budget transfer.
    e.g., The expenses used from January 2021 to December 2021 will be settled in January 2022 by budget transfer.
  • The fee will be announced on the email noticing the arrival of the materials.
  • You can confirm your utility result from MyOPAC.(Some of the result will not be reflected.)

Others

You may have to make a bank transfer or bring mail stamps, depending on the situation.
