The Kashiwa Library will respond as shown in the table below according to the level of [Activity Restrictions Index] posted on the University of Tokyo website [University Response to the Coronavirus Disease 2019].

The service settings at each stage may change in the future.

Open
  • Available to students and faculty members belonging to the University of Tokyo.
  • Those outside the university (excluding those who have the University of Tokyo Library Admission Card / Kashiwa Library Club Membership Card) cannot use the reading room.
  • Off-campus people who have "the University of Tokyo Library Admission Card, etc." can use the reading room by following the prescribed admission procedure, but there are some time zone when it is not available.
  • Available
Level B
Level C

Open

  • Available to students and faculty members belonging to the University of Tokyo.
  • In principle, not available to off-campus people who do not have the University of Tokyo Library Admission Card, etc.
  • Off-campus people who have "the University of Tokyo Library Admission Card, etc." can use the reading room by following the prescribed admission procedure, but there are some time zone when it is not available.
  • Media Hall, Conference Room, Seminar Rooms 1 and 2 are not available in principle.
