To prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, Science Library (Bldg.1) and Library of Chemistry (Chemistry Bldg.) remain closed. Library services for members of School of Science are now limited as below. The services may change depending on the situation. Thank you for your understanding.

Access

The library remains closed. After hours use for members of School of Science is also unavailable.

Borrowing

• Postal loan service is available for those who are not allowed to come to campus. See "Postal Loan and Photocopy Service" for details.
• Book Pickup Service is available for those who are allowed to come to campus for research activities. Reservation is required. You can pick up the books you requested at the service desk on the third floor of the Science Library (Bldg. 1). See "Book Pickup Service" for details.

Returning

You don’t need to return books during the library closure. There are no penalties.
There is a return box in front of the library. You can also return books by post with tracking service. Postage is paid by the borrowers.

Photocopies

Postal photocopy service is available. See "Postal Loan and Photocopy Service" for details.

Books and document delivery service from other libraries

The details will be posted later.
Books and document delivery service from other libraries is resumed. Although Science Library remains closed, you can pick up the items you requested at the service desk on the third floor of the Science Library (Bldg. No.1). Please apply via MyOPAC. Reservation is required when you pick up the items. Please refrain from applying if you are not allowed to come to campus.
