[Reservation Required] Book Pickup Service

Although the library remains closed, Book Pickup Service is available for those who are allowed to come to campus for research activities. Reservation is required. You can pick up the books you requested at the service desk on the third floor of the Science Library (Bldg. 1).

How to make a reservation

1. Reservation for books held by Science Library

Eligible person Members of School of Science. Those who are allowed to come to campus for research activities can apply.
Period

During the University activity restrictions index level 1. Reservations can be made from June 12 (Fri.), 2020.

Target items Items held by Science Library and Library of Chemistry
Loan period Due date for books is July 17 (Fri.). Loan period for journals and reference books is 1 day.
Number of books Up to 5 books, 10 volumes of journals (as usual)
These items are excluded when you use our Postal Loan Service.
Application form Web form
Please apply 2 - 7 business days before your visit. Please enter your pick-up date and time between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays. The service may be temporarily suspended when we have many applications.
Details
  1. Apply through the "Application Form for Book Pickup Service".
  2. We will contact you by e-mail when the books are ready.
  3. Pick up the books you requested at the service desk on the third floor of the Science Library (Bldg. 1).
  4. You can return books into the book drop in front of the library. If you have trouble to return them, please let us know by e-mail.

 

2. Reservation for materials held by other libraries

Please apply via MyOPAC as usual. We will contact you by e-mail when the materials arrive. Please let us know when you would like to pick them up.

 

Important notice

  • Please wear a face mask when you visit the library.
  • Disinfect your fingers with alcohol before and after entering.
  • Cancel or change your reservation if you are sick.
  • You cannot access to the reading rooms or bookshelves. A photocopy machine is unavailable.
  • Those who do not make a reservation cannot access to the library.
