Entry

When entering, please hold your student/faculty ID card over the IC card reader at the entrance.

Entry on Saturday

On Saturdays the library is not open to the general public, and you can enter only through the main entrance on the 1st floor provided you have an authorized ID card.

Please hold your student/faculty ID card or Kashiwa Library ID card over the card reader.

If you are a non-Kashiwa Campus member, you need to apply for application at the counter.

If you can't enter the building, please contact the counter from the extension phone next to the card reader.

User Registration Service

Student ID holder Students who can access UT-mate, registration is not required.
When your student ID card is re-issued or the entrance gate does not open, please consult staff at the Library Service Counter.
Faculty ID holder You have to come to the Library Service Counter and register as a library user.

  • Application form to Pass to Library of the University of Tokyo

UT members without an ID card Please consult the staff at the Library Service Counter.
what to bring：
  • certificate of enrollment

* Registration can be done between 9:00 to 17:00 on weekdays.
