Kashiwa Library has closed the following period temporarily due to the ceiling seismic retrofitting work.
 

Closed: March 2 (Mon) - March 16 (Mon), 2020
* From March 11 (Wed) to March 13 (Fri), which was originally scheduled to open, will be closed.

Following is the information on the handling of books during the temporary closing period.
 

• Reservation / Pick-up books from other campuses
  If you wish to receive books during February, please make a reservation at OPAC by Tuesday, February 25.
  You can't borrow books during temporary closing, so please do not make reservations.
  If the books arrive at Kashiwa Library while the library is closed, you can borrow them after that period.
  (In the meantime, the status of the book in OPAC is displayed as "Under dispatch".)
   
• Returning other campus library materials
  During the temporary closing period, you can return books from other campus libraries to the Book Drop.
  *Do not return CDs, DVDs or fragile materials to the Book Drop.
   
• Literature copy / Off-campus loan
  Applications during that period will be processed sequentially after March 11, 2020 (Wednesday).
  Materials / Books will arrive after March 17 (Tue).
   
• About the books of Kashiwa Library whose due date is 3/11 (Wed)-3/13 (Fri)
  Their due date will be changed automatically  to 3/17 (Tue).
