The General Library is scheduled to close temporarily in this summer to proceed the renovations.
The details will be announced on this website as soon as they are determined.

The following plan is currently being decided：

１．Period of Temporary Closure
About three weeks in September 2020

*The schedule may have a minor rearrangement but mostly set as announced.

(Except the unpredictable circumstances such as the expansion of COVID-19)

２．Work to be done during the closure
Complete the rearrangement of the books in open shelves, re-location of the Media Plaza, and relocation of some stack materials.

３．Services during the closure

While the library is closed, the facilities of the Main Building will not be available for use, but we are considering offering a book check-out service.
・Before the closure period, the number of loan books will be increased.
・During the closure, you will not be able to check out or browse the open shelves. The stack materials and automatic stack materials are currently under consideration.
・Annex Library Plaza is available for use.（level 0.5）

Before and after the temporary closure of the library during this summer, we will also carry out various tasks such as bringing in furniture and dismantling temporary shelves.
