Regarding the library service during the University activities restriction Level 2

The General Library expands the service since The University of Tokyo Activity Restrictions Index for Preventing the Spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is downgraded to Level 2 on June 1st. The service range is enlarged from original Level 2 service plan.

1. The parcel book delivery and mail photocopy service on the General Library materials (referred to as “delivery service”)

The delivery service will be expanded as; 

  • Maximum number of the books to check out, from 3 to 5 
  • Conditional service to U-Tokyo students who need the materials of the General Library to write a senior thesis or master thesis or doctoral dissertation, to all UTokyo members unconditionally

2. The reserved check-out service at the library counter for the fragile materials.

The library provides the check-out service at the counter on the stack materials for U-Tokyo faculty and students who need the materials of the General Library to write a senior thesis or master thesis or doctoral dissertation.
