There are different procedures for each of Stack, Japanese and Chinese classics room or the other (than Japanese and Chinese classics) room. 
The readers who are qualified to admission and borrow of the Japanese and Chinese classics stack room is: Undergraduate students (incl. auditing students and research students), Graduate students and Research fellows, Administrative personnel, Faculties, Professors emeritus.

The Former faculties are qualified only to admission the stacks except the Japanese and Chinese classics room.
And the readers who are not qualified to admission will need to request the stack desk staff.
