【Ongoing】Treasure box of science articles ―from the automated storage Kashiwa Library―

The auto library on the west side of the Kashiwa Library currently contains approximately 400,000 volumes of natural science journals. It is one of the most characteristic collections in Japan, having been accumulated along with the history of the University of Tokyo since the Meiji Era, and was gathered from other campuses such as Hongo and Komaba.
This exhibition features some of the journals from the auto library, a treasure trove of scientific papers of great significance in the history of science in modern and contemporary times.
We will focus on the following two scientific papers.
