You can search through the books and journals that Science Library holds with UTokyo OPAC.

• "Location: Sci.Lib." represents the holdings of Science Library (Bldg.1).
• "Location: Sci.Lib.Chem." represents the holdings of Library of Chemistry (Chemistry Bldg.).
• Items with "Lab possession" or "研究室" indicated in "Status" or "Comments" in the OPAC are not available for use.

• You can read open-shelf materials freely.

• Application is needed to use materials in the closed stacks. Library staff will retrieve them for you. "Location: Sci.Lib.B1F.Stack"  represents the materials in the closed stacks. Theses are also in the closed stacks.
• Please fill out an request form below and submit it to the Science Library (Bldg. 1) between 9:00 and 16:00, or send us e-mail including the title of materials and the date of visit.
• Materials are available at 9:00 to 16:30 on weekdays.

• "Location: Sci.Lib.RareBooks" represents the rare books. Appointment is required to read them. Please fill out an application form and submit it to the Science Library (Bldg. 1) at least three business days before you using them.
• You can read rare books in the library from 9:00 to 16:30 on weekdays.

• Please ask the Science Library in advance for use of materials displayed with "Location: Sci.Lib.Bot.Gar.".
• It takes about one week to deliver them from Koishikawa Botanical Garden to Science Library.

• If you wish to use materials from our collection for publication or broadcast, please send the following "特別利用許可願".

• We provide the digital contents of the materials held by Science Library on the following terms.
