Science Library Display : Dr. Syukuro Manabe: Global Warming Prediction (September 17 - October 30, 2024)

In recent years, Japan has experienced extreme heat and heavy rainfall during the rainy season and summer. Globally, the effects of climate change are serious, and global warming is believed to be the cause.

Dr. Syukuro Manabe, a graduate of the Faculty of Science, the University of Tokyo, conducted pioneering research on the greenhouse effect caused by atmospheric carbon dioxide in the 1960s, laying the foundation for today's climate change research. This exhibition focuses on the materials written by Dr. Manabe, the 2021 Nobel Laureate in Physics.
We hope you enjoy it.
