International Documentation
The General Library is designated as a UN Depository Library (1965- ) and the EU Information Center (EUi, 1980-). It’s containing the following materials.
- United Nations conference documents and publications
- Official publications of the European Union
- OECD publications
- Publications of other international organizations
The service of the former International Documentation Center was suspended in July 2016 due to the renovation work of the General Library, but in November 2020 it was reopened as the International Documentation Corner.
Classification of materials
The call number is assigned according to the original classification system for each international organization.
Use of materials
Materials with the OPAC indication of " Gen.IDC. 1F " are placed in the International Documentation Corner at the back of the open area on the east side of the first floor and are classified by the issuing organization.
You can browse and make copies of these materials in the library. They cannot be checked out.
Back issues and books are stored in the automated storage of the General Library.
Some materials are being repaired for storage.
