Regarding the issuance of library passes to new graduates of the class of 2024, the General Library will only accept applications by mail during the following period.

• During the period of March 24, 2025 - April 13, 2025, the service counter will be very crowded. To prevent confusion, applications for new entrance library passes will only be accepted by mail (postage will be borne by the applicant). ->For details
• If you wish to apply for issuance in person at the General Library counter, please come on or after April 14 (Mon.), 2025.

NOTICE:

• The above correspondence is for those who will graduate or complete their studies on March 24 and 25, 2025. Graduates before March 2025 will be handled as usual.
• Komaba Library, Kashiwa Library, Medical Library, University Library for Agricultural and Life Sciences, Libraries for Engineering and Information Science & Technology, and The Library of Economics also accept the issuance of library passes for graduates and alumni of the relevant faculty or graduate school. For details, please check the website of each library.
• For those who plan to continue to belong to UTokyo after April 2025: If you wish to use the General Library until you receive your new ID card, please bring following two documents to the General Library reception counter. (Reception hours: Weekdays 9:00-17:00)
  • your degree or Certificate of graduation or completion
  • documents that can verify the fact of your employment after April 2025, etc.
