General Library Self-Guided Tour 2023 Spring（3/24 - 5/12)

The General Library offers a Self-Guided Tour starting Friday, March 24, 2023.
This quick and easy tour will show you how to use the General Library in about 30 minutes.
Please join us when you visit the General Library.
Maps are available on the first floor of the Main Library and in the Annex.
Those who complete the tour will receive a small prize.
You can learn how to find books and articles in the online training "First steps to search for books and papers ＠UTokyo." We look forward to your participation. (For the University of Tokyo members only, registration is required)

How to take a self-guided tour
- Get a tour map from the 1st floor of the Main Building or Library Plaza in the Annex.
- Find 19 checkpoints in the library. You can leave the library during the tour or spread the time over several days.
- Read the description of each checkpoint and write the "key number" on the map.
- After visiting all the checkpoints, two ID numbers from the Key Number you collected will be completed.
- Search the 10-digit ID numbers in the OPAC of the University of Tokyo Library.
- Fill in the card with the two book titles from the search results and present it at the reception desk of the Main Building.
