Suspension and Changes of Online Services due to System Renewal

UTokyo Library will be replacing its library system in August. Our online services will be temporarily suspended. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

When will online services be suspended?

Making a purchase request through MyOPAC will be unavailable from August 4 (Wed.) to August 10 (Tue.), 9:00 am.

All of the MyOPAC services will be suspended from August 7 (Sat.) to August 10 (Tue.), 9:00 am. MyOPAC services include:
- Make a purchase request
- Reserve on-loan books
- Extend the loan period
- Request book/copy delivery
ASK Service will be suspended as well.

* UTokyo OPAC and E-journal & E-book Portal will still be available during the transition period.

How will the new system be different from the old one?

New UTokyo OPAC and MyOPAC will be launched on August 10 (Tue.). You can use them in the same way as before but new OPAC will enable you to search for e-journals and e-books as well as library's print collection from a single search box. Your bookmarks on MyOPAC will be transferred to the new system.

GACoS will be renewed as "Literacy" on August 11 (Wed.).
