North China Railway Company related materials
Off-Campus
The North China Railway Company was established in China in 1939 during the Sino-Japanese War as a de facto subsidiary of the South Manchuria Railway Company (Mantetsu).
This collection comprises wartime materials from the corporation and postwar materials from repatriation support organizations. It is a valuable resource not only for railway and transportation history, but also for colonial studies and repatriation research, and is a useful resource for modern and contemporary history research in general.
