National Diet Library Digital Collections

This service allows you to search and browse books, periodicals, rare books and old materials, audio-visual materials, maps, and other digitized materials collected and stored at the National Diet Library, as well as online publications. The conditions for browsing vary depending on the material, so please check the information displayed on the screen before using the service.
Full-text search is available for some digitized materials. Full-text search allows you to go directly to the hit location from the list of search results.
The "digitized materials of books and classic books whose copyright protection period has expired that are available on the Internet (about 350,000 items)" included in National Diet Library Digital Collections can also be searched from Next Digital Library.
