資料概要

1915-1990年の間の米国連邦議会関連文書のマイクロフィッシュ版。 各種委員会の報告書であるReportと、連邦行政府の各省庁や独立委員会が議会に対して提出した資料であるDocumentが収録されている。いずれも1817年の刊行開始時点から一連番号が付けられていることから、Serial Setとも呼ばれている。
Reportは、法案審議に関連した立法的な内容のものと、特別委員会や各委員会の専管事項に関しての調査報告を内容とするものがある。前者は、法案審議に関連した公聴会・行政府の意向をまとめあげた結論を委員会が本会議に提出したもので、後者は、特別委員会の報告や各委員会の専管事項に関しての調査の結果を議員に周知させるために本会議に提出するものである。
Documentは、行政各省庁や独立機関、さらに連邦政府や議会の監督を受ける諸団体の年次報告書や調査書、統計書などの他、大統領教書も収められている（1915-1952年の間については議会議事録であるJournalも一部収録している）。
