There are entrance gates at the entrance of the library. The method of entering the library differs according to the type of card that you have.

Staff ID/Student ID/User ID (IC Card)
Please touch your staff ID/student ID/user ID (IC card), to the black part of the entrance gate. When the IC card is successfully read, the gate will open.

User ID with a Barcode Printed on
Please hold the barcode part of your ID by the reading part at the lower part of the entrance gate. When the barcode is successfully read, the gate will open.

When the Gate does not open
Please bring your staff ID/student ID/user ID that you used, to the counter.

Please leave the library through the gate set at the exit of the library. There are times when the buzzer goes on when you leave the library, and the gate becomes locked. In this case, please follow the instructions given by the library staff.
