Science Library was opened in the spring of 2018 by integrating several department libraries. Services are provided in Main Library, the 3rd floor of Faculty of Science Building No.1 (Area E) and Library of Chemistry, the 4th floor of Chemistry Main Building. In addition, there is an annex, Botanical Garden Library, located in Koishikawa Botanical Garden.
The library holds a wide variety of materials including valuable books and theses inherited from the former libraries, textbooks and reference books published in the syllabus of School of Science, lecture-related materials recommended by faculty members, and books introduced in the serial article "理学の本棚 (Rigaku-no-Hondana)" in "理学部ニュース (Rigakubu News)".
The library also has comfortable reading seats with a great view, a seminar room and a lounge for group work. There is widely used as a place for education and research in the field of science.
