The library entrance was changed due to a renovation of the General Library. Please check the following maps to locate the temporary entrance.

Directions to the General Library from Akamon (the Red Gate)
(1) Go straight through Akamon (the Red Gate).
(2) Continue straight until you get to the T intersection. The “Faculty of Medicine Building 2” will be straight ahead of you in the distance.
(3) Turn left at the T intersection.
(4) Now, the Joint Use Building (high-floored prefabricated building) will be in front of you. You will almost reach the General Library!
(5) The pedestrarian walkway will be on the right side of the Joint Use Building. Proceed straight through the walkway.
(6) You will see the library entrance sign on the left side of the pedestrarian walkway. Please enter the library by passing under the Joint Use Building.
Directions to the General Library from the Main Gate
(1) Go straight through the Main Gate.
(2) Yasuda Auditorium will be straight ahead of you in the distance.
(3) Walk two blocks from the Main Gate, and turn right at the arcade walkway of the right side building (Faculty of Law & Letters Building 2).
(4) Proceed straight through the arcade walkway.
(5) Now, the Faculty of Letters Building 3 will be in front of you. You will also see the construction site of the library diagonally forward right. You will almost reach the General Library! 
(6) Walk straight through the left side walkway of the Faculty of Letters Building 3.
(7) The pedestrarian walkway will be on the left side of the Joint Use Building (high-floored prefabricated building). Proceed straight through the walkway.
(8) You will see the library entrance sign on the right side of the pedestrarian walkway. Please enter the library by passing under the Joint Use Building.
